Formtech insulated concrete form reference
This reference covers the Formtech reversible expanded polystyrene insulated concrete form system: the panel, block, corner and cavity web components that make up the form, the assembly sequence used to build a wall with them, and the cross-section detail register. Cavity widths run from 2.5 inches to 20 inches, and every block face covers 5.33 square feet of wall.

Straight block, 4 inch cavity. Six self-locking WEB04R cavity webs with built-in rebar clips. The interlocking tread pattern is reversible top and bottom, and furring strips are embedded eight inches on center.

90 degree corner block, 4 inch. Four WEB04R webs and one WEB06R inserted diagonally at the corner for increased strength. The block places either right or left-facing to create a running bond pattern.

45 degree corner block, 6 inch. Four WEB06R webs with rebar clips. The reversible pattern allows the corner form to be placed right or left-facing.

Brick ledge panel. A one-piece panel that casts a concrete ledge to support brick veneer, pairing with any Formtech panel through the appropriate cavity webs.

Cavity web, 4 inch. Injection-molded polypropylene web with built-in rebar clips. Webs slide and lock into place to join two panels into a form, and are packaged in minimum quantities of 300.

Worked procedures
1. Multiply the length (A) of all walls
by the height (B) of all walls.
2. Subtract square footage of all openings (C).
3. Divide the result by 5.3
(the number of square feet per block).
4. The result is the number of blocks required.
Overage of 2 to 5 percent is recommended;
