Cayman Expanded Polystyrene Products Ltd. manufactures the Formtech ICF in Grand Cayman. The official grand opening was February 11, 2000.

The Cayman Islands is the smallest country in the world with a plant to manufacture insulated concrete forms, architectural foam shapes, exterior insulated finish systems and foam products. The location is a hub for the entire Caribbean, and the product is used for residential, commercial and industrial construction there.

A local cement block manufacturer wanted to bring insulated concrete forms to Grand Cayman, and after researching the available systems selected the Formtech ICF. Benefits identified for the Caribbean include lower utility bills and stronger dwellings.
