ICF construction offers advantages over conventional building methods, including ease of construction, affordability, energy efficiency, sound proofing, and a healthier interior environment. The Formtech ICF combines those advantages with engineering intended to deliver product quality, design versatility and construction dependability.

Code approvals

The product meets building code approvals, and can be specified for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The evaluation and legacy report numbers are listed in the code approval register.

Wall shape and size

Formtech blocks can be adapted to any design requirement and wall size. Multi-size cavity blocks come in standard widths of 2.5, 4, 6, 8 and 10 inches. A special web extender can accommodate widths of up to 20 inches or more.

Reinforcement and finishes

All webs are built to accommodate the rebar so the steel stays properly aligned before, during and after the pour. Blocks have strapping built in every 8 inches on centre for application of virtually any interior or exterior finish, and pull-out strength is double the industry standard due to the use of certified resins.

The reversible corner blocks are versatile and are rated among the strongest in the industry due to the additional built-in plastic at all pressure point locations.
