E. T-sections

Joining an intersecting wall to a through wall.

Measure, mark and cut the interior panel of the block the T is joining, block A, to the width of the cavity. Butt the intersecting block, B, flush to block A. Tie the first cavity web of block B to the closest cavity web of block A. Tape and foam joints.

Brace T-sections at intersecting points for extra support. T-sections should be braced with a 2 by 10 across from the abutting wall and 2 by 4s on the outside corners.
